This was an instant “hit” at our house. Compact, durable, easy-to-use and my (9-year-old) son’s hitting improved immensly. We pack it up and bring it to the field or wherever. It comes with a retaining strap, stakes, instructions and a carrying bag. Easily tosses into the back seat, or back of a pickup truck. Setup a cinch, just “toss” it out into the grass and it springs open, then pull the side straps tight and secure it with the stakes quickly and easily. Only “con” is you have to be careful folding it back up the first couple times until you get the hang of it, as it can pop back up at you.
Very durable – he hits about a hundred balls a day into this all summer with not the slightest sign of wear. Has a strike zone target, you can pitch into it too. A super value – get this thing.

Worth the money for a hitting net. I use the hitting net in my drive way. This is my 3rd yr w/ the screen and it still looks good. I estimate w/ two kids, one bucket of balls (60 balls)the hitting net got hit more than 10,000 times.

I bought this screen after I returned the ATEC oversized screen. This screen is ridiculously easy to put up and it is easy to take down using only one person when you get the hang of it. We set it up in the garage to get extra practice during the Indiana winters, and it will be a mainstay during our practices when the season starts in the spring. It is worth the extra money when compared to other brands.

Warranty
I am a careful person when shopping online so I only purchase from well know, reputable companies. That’s why I shop at Amazon and they also have the lowest prices on the Jugs Instant Screen too. The warranty you get on this product is a one year manufacturers warranty, nicely thrown in but as the product is made of quality materials I don’t think you’ll be needing to use it. All the same a nice to have just in case.

Negatives
I do have a one negative about this product that I need to discuss now and that is that some people found it tricky to fold up. Personally I don’t find this a problem, maybe because I read the instructions and watched a great video showing you how to do this.

How to Fold the Jugs Instant Screen

Hi there, just thought I’d put this quick post up to let you know what else we use or Jugs Instant Screen for. By that I don’t mean that it’s not used for soft toss batting practice, of course it is and it is the best one I’ve found to help improve bat speed and accuracy.

But when my kids are short of numbers they also use it a back stop, even if no one wants to be backstop it can be used for this purpose. They don’t need to go collecting the ball or the ball smashing against a fence, more important to me of course, as the Jugs Instant Screen just stops the ball in the large net.

The Jugs Instant Screen can also be used as a substitute first baseman for practice sessions when you are short of players.

I will write up more uses as I one we find them but while looking online I also found this great tutorial on how to put the net away, it was done by 2 twelve year old girls in under 3 minutes so if you are struggling with your watch this video.
